First Appellate Authority (FAA)

If an applicant is aggrieved by a decision of the CPIO, they may appeal to the First Appellate Authority.

How to Submit an RTI Request

  • Applications should be addressed to the Public Information Officer (CPIO).
  • The application must be submitted along with the prescribed application fee (as per State/Central government rules), usually a fee of ₹10/- (Rupees Ten only) paid via Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft in favor of the Institution.
  • The request must clearly specify the information sought.
  • All RTI applications should be sent by post or hand-delivered to the Institute's main administrative office.
